R40B industrial edge router is one of R40 industrial router family, it is not just an 4G industrial router that provides WiFi, but also comes with I/O for industrial data acquisition, support Modbus to MQTT protocol conversion and remote monitoring via cloud platform, features Edge computing, programmable logic operations, compatible with SNMP V1/V2 to meet traditional network management system applications, etc.

The R40B industrial router communicate via 4G and WiFi, it comes with Digital input, Digital output, Analog input, Ethernet ports, Serial ports, which can perform as Modbus master to collect data from sensors and detectors and upload the data to cloud platform for remote monitoring and event alarms.

The IoT router integrates the functions of IoT gateway, RTU and industrial router, users only need one IoT router to meet the needs of data acquisition, remote control, event alarm and remote monitoring. It is an ideal solution for smart cities.

The IoT edge router supports Edge computing and Logical Control, it supports a variety of operations and alarm linkage control. The Edge router features powerful data processing capabilities.
